Karachi: In a strategic move to enhance tourism, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the construction of a 6-kilometer road leading to Haleji Lake. The decision, announced during a Special Investment Facilitation Council meeting in Karachi, aims to improve accessibility to this natural marvel, thereby attracting more visitors.
The initiative reflects the government’s broader commitment to developing the region’s tourism sector. Alongside the road project, plans for a “Desert Safari Sports” initiative were also unveiled, highlighting the government’s efforts to offer unique and adventurous experiences to tourists.
CM Murad Ali Shah emphasized the significant economic benefits of bolstering tourism, including job creation and economic growth. By focusing on improving infrastructure and introducing novel attractions, the Sindh government aims to position the region as a prime tourist destination. This development marks a pivotal step in the government’s strategy to uplift tourism in Sindh, recognizing the sector’s potential to drive sustainable economic development.
